About this activity

Book your Accessible Golden Circle Tour in Iceland

On this accessible tour from Reykjavík, you will get to see the most popular sights in Iceland. Your private guide picks you up from your hotel or cruise ship in the city and you start the day off by driving to Þingvellir National Park. Þingvellir is a UNESCO heritage site since 2004 and is famous for its geological and historical value and beauty. The walking paths in the park are accessible and well maintained and you will discover the most beautiful spots with your private guide.

Next on the agenda is the geothermal valley Haukadalur. Here, you can find the active fountain geyser „Strokkur“ (Icelandic for „churn“). Iceland‘s most famous geyser is a highlight not to be missed and it erupts every 4-8 minutes, at times up to 40 meters high. The area and the geyser itself are easy to access in a wheelchair, and an accessible restaurant is located right across the street as well. This is our recommended lunch stop for the day (not included).

After the lunch break, you continue to the „Golden Waterfall“ Gullfoss. Wheelchair access to Gullfoss is good and visitors can get a beautiful view from the parking lot, as well as from an accessible viewing platform from above. Your last stop on the way back to Reykjavík is Kerið, a volcanic crater of immense beauty and one of the oldest craters around.

Please contact us as well if your desired tour departure is less than 7 days from now.
