Glacier Hike From Reykjavik & Northern Lights with Dinner
This guided day tour from Reykjavik combines the best highlights for an awesome winter tour: Glacier Walk, Traditional Icelandic food, two famous waterfalls, and the Aurora Borealis.
Glacier Hike, Northern Lights & Dinner
This combo tour includes 2 of the best highlights of a winter visit to Iceland: A glacier hike and the chance to look for the amazing Northern Lights. Your guide picks you up in Reykjavik and will drive you to the Sólheimajökull glacier on the South Coast. There, you will be provided with the necessary gear and start your exploration of the glacier with the help of your professional and knowledgeable guide. You will spend approximately 1 hour on the glacier, an easy walk that guarantees a true astonishing adventure. The glacier walk does not require any special skills and the tour can be enjoyed by people of all levels in good health.
After this impressive glacier experience, you will visit the famous Skógafoss waterfall. After enjoying one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, you will enjoy a traditional Icelandic soup for dinner with dessert at a local restaurant nearby. Once you have finished your dinner, you will drive to the magical Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This waterfall is illuminated during the night which gives it a very special touch. Then you head out into the night, looking for the magical Northern Lights. After what we hope was a successful Northern Lights hunt, you will return to Reykjavik and be dropped off at the drop-off point closest to your accommodation.
*Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and we cannot guarantee to see them. As they are only a small part of a full fun day on this tour, there are no refunds or retries offered if we don't see the lights.
